Long-Tailed Tits

Nanny and Grampy discovered a Long-Tailed Tits nest in their garden. They left them well alone so as not to disturb them, but the babies fledged last week. They are the cutest little birds.

Here are three of the babies hidden in a bush and one of them on a bird box.

Now the babies are out of the nest we can take a good look at it. It's a beautiful nest made of lichen, with a fluffy feathery lining. A real work of art!
