After complaining that I hadn't seen any butterflies in the garden for ages, I have already seen a Red Admiral and a Small Tortoiseshell on the Buddlea this morning. It would be nice to think they may be some of the caterpillars that were on our nettle patch!
It's the 1st of July, so I guess the June gap is officially over.
The bees have been enjoying it as well.
Down on the nettle patch, the ants are still very busy guarding their aphids. I also found a green spider and a shield bug.
