Agrimony
Up to 1m tall, Agrimony is a grassland plant that has yellow flowers that smell faintly of apricots. It is also known as Fairy's Rod, Church Steeples or Sticklewort. Agrimony is said to represent thankfulness or gratitude.
The seed heads are covered in small burrs that stick to clothes and fur, helping to disperse the seeds. They look pretty too!
It has been used in traditional medicine for all sorts of things, including staunching bleeding, aiding digestion and helping with skin complaints. The root can also be used to make a yellow dye.
